Carcassonne: Cathedrals in Germany is a mini-expansion of six tiles for Carcassonne with each tile featuring a well-known cathedral from Germany. If a meeple is placed as a thief on a road connected to a cathedral, then the thief earns double points for each road segment rather than for each tile. Alternatively, a meeple can be placed on the cathedral itself as a bishop, and if all of the roads connected to the cathedral have been finished before the end of the game, the bishop scores the player 1 point per road segment.
This expansion was first available during the Easter season (through April 3, 2016), from the Publisher's online store, then again in October 2016. Requires the base game of Carcassonne to play.

Please note - There is an earlier version of this mini-expansion that matches the pre-2015 editions of Carcassonne - this listing is for the NEW artwork version that will match editions printed in 2015 and later. The newer version of this mini-expansion includes a cathedral symbol in the bottom corner of each tile - older versions of this expansion have no symbol.
How to tell which version of Carcassonne you have? If the city artwork on your tiles contains both red and blue roofs, then you have the newer artwork (2015 to the present). If your cities contain only red roofs, then you have the older versions (pre-2015).
