Power of Gold is a mini-expansion consisting of new assignment cards that give new options for gaining and spending gold:
  • Dr. Hugo Mercier:  allows players to avoid getting new population cards by spending gold.
  • Lady Margaret Hunt: gives players gold when they tear down a building.
